There are many ways that Irish and international individuals, communities, businesses and brands can connect with St. Patrick's Festival. Ireland's national arts, culture and heritage festival is centred around St. Patrick's Day, which is celebrated annually on March 17 by more than 80 million people across the world.  

St. Patrick's Festival celebrates both old Ireland and modern Ireland. Our Festival is diverse, inclusive, innovative and smashes Irish stereotypes. We are equally proud of our ancient traditions and our contemporary culture and that is the message that we wish to share with the world.

    St. Patrick's Festival would not be possible without the thousands of incredible volunteers who join our Festival family to help us bring our events life. 

    Volunteering at St. Patrick's Festival is a wonderful experience, the chance to be part of the team who deliver of one of the biggest outdoor festivals in the world. We are a close knit crew who value, respect and appreciate each and every member. 

    If you would like to work professionally in events and festivals, there is no better learning adventure than St. Patrick's Festival. You'll get to experience Festival life from the other side of the barriers and learn from some of Ireland's most respected live events professionals.  

    It's also lots of fun and you will meet a wonderful collection of people from across the world, make lifelong friendships and bank memories that will last forever.

    Please note, you must be over 18 years of age to volunteer at the Festival. 

    If you are applying from outside Ireland and need a visa to travel here, you'll need to arrange this by yourself before applying. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to issue any documents in this regard.

    2022 will be a year of recovery and reconnection as we move forward with life after an incredibly challenging time.  

    Here at the national St. Patrick's Festival in Dublin our audiences are global. In 2021, our virtual Festival connected with more than 102 million people worldwide and our digital programme was accessed by audiences in 143 countries.  

    We have many exciting opportunities for organisations, companies and brands to connect with domestic and international audiences through St. Patrick’s Festival, from the globally viewed St. Patrick's Day Parade to our five day Festival Quarter in the heart of Dublin.

    We strive to ensure that the majority of our events are provided free of charge and are accessible to all.  Donations are always welcome to help with the delivery of our creative, ambitious and inclusionary programme.

  • Share Your Events with Our Audiences

    It has been an incredibly challenging two years for owners and workers across the arts, culture, heritage, festivals, entertainment, tourism, hospitality and accommodation industries, locally, nationally and internationally.  

    In support of our friends and colleagues in these industries, we want to share our audiences with you and so we have developed an online portal here on our website to enable external events to be uploaded directly by the owner.  

    Artists, arts organisations, cultural institutions, parades, festivals, producers, promoters, venues, clubs, galleries, bars, restaurants and businesses throughout Dublin, Ireland and internationally are invited to submit details of their celebrations, sessions, events and activities.

    Due to the expected large volumes of submissions, we will be unable to amend details of any event after it has been submitted, so please make sure that all details are 100% correct before submitting.

    Please note: St. Patrick's Festival reserve the right to refuse publication of any event without explanation and the right to remove any event from the listings without explanation.
